25th WESTLAKE INVITATIONAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND MAY 23-25 (Fri-Sat-Sun), 2008
The Tournament Committee invites your Team/Club to submit entries for participation in the 25th Annual Westlake Invitational Soccer Tournament. Applications will be excepted soon!
Where: Westlake, Ohio (a suburb 15 miles west of downtown Cleveland)
When: Competition will begin on Friday, May 24th. Final games will be completed on Sunday, May 26th. Friday games are limited to local teams. NO GAMES WILL BE PLAYED ON MONDAY.
What: Each participating team will play a minimum of 3 games. Each player will receive a tournament patch and souvenir program. “Participation Awards” will be presented to all participating players in the U9 and under age groups. Champions and runner-ups in each age group will each receive individual awards in the U10 – U14 age groups only.
Who: Applications are invited from girls’ and boys’ teams that are duly registered with their respective state associations and US Club Soccer. Up to 4 guest players will be permitted to participate on a team. A copy of the guest player’s original team roster and current approved player pass are required for each guest player. U8 - U10 teams will play 6v6; U11-U12 teams will play 8v8; U13-14 will play 11v11. Please note that brackets may close before the deadline.
The Green Division is for premier and top level travel teams. The White Division is for lower division travel teams and recreational teams. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to combine/separate divisions based on the teams entered.
Fees: As listed above.
Housing: Please see the website for a list of area hotels. Please contact the hotel of your choice directly when making your reservations. Rooms have been blocked at most hotels under the Westlake Invitational Soccer Tournament name. Please mention this block to expedite your reservation
